Fans React to American Idol‘s Bo Bice Changing His Look

Last week, Bo Bice posted a comparison between his former long-haired look and a newer style, calling himself a “brand new man.” As he wrote in the post’s caption, “Here’s a blast from my past and a glimpse into my future with a new life, new style, but the same southern soul.”

Fans didn’t hold back in sharing their thoughts on Bice’s new style, with many saying they preferred his old look. As one user wrote, “Very different look but I would suggest to ditch the necklaces and button up the shirt.” Another wrote, “That’s sad not an improvement.”

Other users were shocked that Bice no longer looked like his 29-year-old self, as over 20 years have passed since he competed on American Idol. He just turned 51, but one commenter still wrote, “Why does he look so old??? Yikes.”

Bice Opened Up About Making Changes Earlier This Year

Bice’s new look isn’t actually new, as fans also commented on it earlier this year. After taking a break from social media, the singer shared a photo of himself showing off a shorter hairstyle, quipping, “A lot lighter and I’m saving on shampoo & conditioner.”

Bice also opened up about some other changes he made to his health and lifestyle, sharing that he lost 89 pounds, stopped drinking caffeine, went off all but one of his medications, and had work done on his teeth, which were damaged “due to years of Crohn’s issues.”
