America’s Got Talent is set to air the second episode of the highly anticipated brand new Judge Callback Round on Tuesday, August 11. Ahead of the upcoming episode, the show shared a performance early on their YouTube, showing off Nene Royal’s next performance.
Nene Royal Performs in The AGT Judge Callback Round
Viral America’s Got Talent 16 year old Nene Royal is set to return to the stage in the next episode of the Judge Callbacks Round. After getting chosen by Howie Mandel, Nene is set to appear on another stage to show off her talents once again.
Ahead of performing again for Mandel, Nene got the opportunity to discuss what he’s looking for in the round. In this candid conversation, Mandel admitted he wants to put someone in that he knows will win the entire series. He wants her instead to work on her showmanship in this round, basically attempting to get the audience engaged in the performance.
In this round, Nene returned to the stage, performing in front of Mandel, guest judge Nikki Glaser, and multiple other contestants and show alumni. Audience who hadn’t heard her perform yet were absolutely shocked to hear her sing “Hysteria” by Muse.
Will She Continue in The Competition?
After the performance, Mandel had Nene talk about what she was thinking. Candidly, she admitted that she played perfectly for the audience. Guest judge Glaser even agreed that Nene’s performance was perfect.
“It seemed like you have even more confidence than you had originally,” Mandel said. “It seems like you’re having more fun.”
Nene then explained that she was able to channel more energy during this performance because of the audience. Glaser admitted that Nene did a great job getting the audience off their feet. It was especially impressive because Nene opened the night for Mandel’s callback group.
Glaser admitted that she wanted more at the end of the clip, but fans will not know whether Nene makes it through to the live shows until Tuesday, August 11. Do you think she’ll make it through? Let us know on x!
