Britain’s Got Talent judge KSI recently won an award for Best Reality TV Judge. The YouTube star earned the honor at this year’s National Reality TV Awards. KSI joined the show’s panel permanently earlier this year after previously guest judging.
BGT Star KSI Wins Best Reality TV Judge Award
On Thursday, the BGT Instagram account shared the news that judge KSI had earned a trophy at the National Reality TV Awards, winning in the Best Reality TV Judge category for his work on the talent show. He joined BGT in Series 19, replacing former judge Bruno Tonioli.
The judge himself also posted the exciting news on his Instagram stories, writing, “No way hahaha thanks for all the love.” KSI isn’t the only judge from BGT who received an award during this year’s ceremony. Simon Cowell was also honored with the Outstanding Contribution to Reality TV Award.
The two sit on the BGT panel with longtime judges Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon. The most recent season of the show wrapped up earlier this year, with The Hawkstone Farmers Choir taking home the grand prize.

The Star Was Previously a BGT Guest Judge
KSI first sat on the Britain’s Got Talent judging panel during Series 18, when he filled in for judges Bruno Tonioli and Simon Cowell during several episodes. The following season, when Tonioli announced his departure from the series, the YouTube star was added as a permanent judge.
During Series 19, he pressed the coveted Golden Buzzer for acts such as young magician Rafferty Coope, Japanese strongman Mr. Cherry, and foot juggler Liwei Yang. Rafferty Coope and Liwei Yang ended up competing in the Finals.
