Dancing with the Stars fans have a chance to dance with their favorite pros at the show’s upcoming convention in Palm Springs, California. Registration to be considered for the coveted opportunity is open now.
Fans Can Enter to Dance with DWTS Pro
Registration is open now for DWTS fans to be considered for the opportunity to dance with a pro at the show’s convention, which takes place from July 31 to August 2. Fans must be 18 years or older to sign up, and submissions will be accepted until July 16.
In order to register, fans must provide their full name, email address, and shoe size (presumably for dancing shoes). You must also specify which pro you would like to dance with, upload a photo of your convention ticket to prove you’re attending, and share links to your Instagram and TikTok profiles.
Fans are also asked to show off their dancing skills in a video recorded specifically for the convention. As the registration page reads, “Upload a video of why you should be chosen to dance with a pro along with any dance skills we should see!”

What Do Fans Think of the Contest?
Fans on the DWTS subreddit recently shared their thoughts on the contest to potentially dance with a pro. Some commenters were wary of the requirement to share social media links and show off dancing skills on video.
“This isn’t fan service, they’re cutting promo reels. Only the influencers will win,” wrote one user, while someone else chimed in to write, “It makes it clear this won’t be a random draw and they’ll pick based on your socials and if you stand out in dancing. Which makes it a rigged contest.”
