Former The Voice Australia coach Delta Goodrem has been announced as the latest celebrity joining the upcoming new series of Strictly Come Dancing in the UK. The competition is expected to kick off in September.
The Voice Australia Coach Joins Strictly Come Dancing
Delta Goodrem is an Australian singer and actress. She released her debut studio album, Innocent Eyes, in 2003. Goodrem was a coach on Australia’s version of The Voice for several seasons on and off, before leaving the show in 2020.
Earlier this year, Goodrem represented Australia at the Eurovision Song Contest with the song “Eclipse,” finishing the competition in fourth place. It continues to be a big year for Goodrem, who is officially joining the celebrity cast of Strictly Come Dancing 2026.
“I’ve been incredibly honored to perform on many different stages throughout my career – from TV, theatre, film sets, to touring my own shows around the world, there is however one stage I’ve never stepped onto and that is the ballroom floor!” Goodrem said in a statement. “I’m absolutely thrilled to be joining Strictly and can’t wait to get started!”
