America’s Got Talent is back for their third episode of 2026 on Tuesday, June 16. Ahead of the episode, the show released a brand new clip from the upcoming episode.
Bety Performs in both English and Spanish
17 year old singer Bety took the stage in the early release audition. She clearly was nervous about the audition, but her nerves seemed to disappear as she began singing “If The World Was Ending” by JP Saxe.
She brought her own unique voice to the song, by mid-song, she began singing in her native tongue. judges were impressed with her ability to make the song her own, while also adding a piece of herself to it.
Her voice was clearly unlike anything the AGT audience had heard before. She earned an incredible standing ovation after her performance was over.
Bety Goes Through With Four Yeses
After the performance, Bety was seen in tears. She even admitted after the fact that she was incredibly overwhelmed after the performance and the roar of the crowd.
“You have one of those recording voices, if I was to hear you on the radio I would know it was you immediately,” Mel B said. “And that is a standout star quality.”
Howie Mandel noted that her vocals are similar to both Halsey and Adele, while Sofia Vergara explained that Bety is already a star. Finally, Simon Cowell admitted that her performance was “a master class of how to sing a song.”
“It was amazing and you’re not copying people, I love the fact that you just got your own thing going,” Cowell said. “I think you absolutely nailed that Bety.”
From there, judges voted for Bety, all giving her “yeses.” She earned four yeses and will appear again in the next round of the competition.
