America’s Got Talent group Chapel Hart, comprised of sisters Danica and Devynn Hart and their cousin Trea Swindle, have announced their split. This comes as a surprise, since the group announced their involvement in Keep It Country Fest 2025 earlier this month.

Chapel Hart Announces They’re Parting Ways

On Monday, August 25, Chapel Hart announced their split via Instagram. In a carousel post, the group wrote their caption within their photos.

“Over the last few years, Chapel Hart has taken us places we never could have imagined. We have laughed, cried, grown, and stood on stages we used to dream about,” they wrote. “More than anything, we have shared a bond that goes deeper than music, and that part will always remain.”

The group then acknowledged that they’re all individually exploring “other passions and dreams” in this new chapter. They also stated “this is not a goodbye” instead, they hope to celebrate their career as a group.

“Thank you for being part of this incredible ride,” the group wrote. “The Chapel Hart story will always be a beautiful part of our lives, and we cannot wait to see what the future holds for each of us.”

Although the group is splitting, they will continue playing their scheduled shows together. According to their website, their final performance as a group will take place on October 25, at the Keep It Country Festival 2025 in Wolverhampton, United Kingdom.

Although it hasn’t been announced exactly which avenues each Chapel Hart member will be exploring, it’s implied that Danica will continue pursuing music. The singer has launched her own artist website where fans can send messages.

The Group Rose to Fame on America’s Got Talent

In 2022, Chapel Hart took the America’s Got Talent stage for the first time. In their audition, they sang original song “You Can Have Him, Jolene.” Their original, a present approach to Dolly Parton’s “Jolene” earned Terry Crews’ Golden Buzzer.

The group then went on to sing originals “The Girls are Back In Town” in the Semifinals, and “American Pride” in the Finale. They finished the competition out in fifth place, behind winner The Mayyas.

Following their time on AGT Chapel Hart released their debut album, Glory Days in May 2023. They later returned to the AGT stage for AGT Fantasy League (2024). They were drafted as part of Simon Cowell’s team and made it all the way to the Semifinals.

On this show, Chapel Hart performed originals “American Pride,” and “This Girl Likes Fords.” In the Finale, they returned to the stage as a guest performer, playing “You Can Have Him, Jolene.”
