The Bachelorette and Dancing With The Stars alum Gabby Windey is once again sharing her love life with the entire world. The reality show star announces that she tied the knot with girlfriend of nearly two years, comedian Robby Hoffman.

Gabby Windey Marries Robby Hoffman in Private Las Vegas Ceremony

The couple shared the news of their wedding on Wednesday, via Instagram. Both Hoffman and Windey posted intimate photos from their big day, January 11, 2025. According to Cosmopolitan, the reality TV star and comedian tied the knot in a 20-minute Las Vegas ceremony earlier this year. The ceremony was officiated by “a disengaged minister in red sneakers.”

“We had just evacuated from the fires. Literally cue Rihanna, ‘We found love in a hopeless place,'” Gabby shared with Cosmopolitan. “What better time to get married than right now? Because if the world is ending, we want to be with each other.”

In the ceremony, Windey wore a high-neck, long-sleeve lace gown. She walked down the aisle to Chapell Roan’s “Hot to Go” in the 20 minute ceremony.

The Engagement, Wedding Happened Quickly

When the wildfires began in Los Angeles, Windey knew it would be best to evacuate, due to her previous experience in Colorado wildfires. The couple decided to evacuate in the middle of the night, taking their cat, Hoffman’s grandfather’s paintings, and Windey’s podcast equipment.

They had wanted to evacuate to Palm Springs, but none of the hotels were accepting reservations at the time. Instead, they drove to the only place they know with 24 hour hotels — Las Vegas! Windey sent out an email saying “Hey, we’ve evacuated, do you have any recommendations?” To which they received an answer half an hour later. At 7:30am, the couple pulled up to their penthouse suite.

“It looked like a wedding suite. Gabby turned to me and she went, ‘Should we get married?’ And look: I’ve been proposing since the day I met her,” Hoffman said.

“When something feels right, it just feels right,” Windey said. “I think it was better for the both of us that it was my idea. She kept checking in like, ‘Are you serious?'”

At the time, the couple was checking the status of the fires, and they continued getting closer to their home. They felt like the world was ending, so they clutched onto each other during the time. Hoffman popped the question by creating a personalized Wordle, with the answer being “WILL YOU MARRY ME, GABBY.”

Windey, of course, said yes, and they were engaged for a day. They had their engagement dinner at an all-you-can-eat buffet. Later, the couple married in a chapel for $799.

The couple explained that their minster was “disengaged,” explaining that it’s “how we like it because we don’t need too many people paying attention to us.” They also had a photographer named Nathan, who orchestrated them throughout the ceremony, to get the best photos.
