Pentatonix Has Signed with Republic Records

A capella group Pentatonix has reportedly signed with Republic Records. The five-member group, who got their start on NBC’s talent show The Sing-Off, is currently touring North America for the holidays.

Pentatonix Signs with Republic Records

Billboard reported the news that Pentatonix has officially signed with Republic Records. The group (which currently consists of Scott Hoying, Mitch Grassi, Kirstin Maldonado, Matt Sallee, and Kevin Olusola) was previously signed to RCA.

“We’re thrilled to kick off this new partnership with Republic!” the group said in a statement. “They’ve played a pivotal role in shaping the careers of so many artists we admire. After many great conversations with their team, we’re aligned on a shared vision to elevate our artistry to new heights. Here’s to an exciting journey ahead!”

Over the years, Pentatonix has released 11 studio albums — most recently their Holidays Around the World album in 2022. They also released a Greatest Christmas Hits album in 2023.

“Pentatonix have always stood apart,” Jim Roppo, president/COO of Republic Corps Collective, said in a statement. “There has never been a vocal group like them, and they’ve been able to completely reinvent both a capella and the holidays to the point where they’re synonymous with both. As a team, we’re so excited to partner with them and help execute their expansive vision for this next chapter.”

The Group Is Currently on a Holiday Tour

Pentatonix is currently traveling North America on a Christmas tour. The tour kicked off in November, and there are dates lined up around the United States through December 22, when the group will perform in Dallas, Texas.

Last month, the group performed a sold-out show at Madison Square Garden in New York City. They’ve also already performed their tour in Pittsburgh, Nashville, and Cleveland, among other cities around the country.

Recently, Pentatonix had an original song in the Netflix movie Meet Me Next Christmas, and they also released the song “Christmastime is Finally Here” with A Great Big World.
