Estranged couple Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky have been fan favorites on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills for quite some time. However, after this year, rumors are swirling that the pair may be headed for divorce.
Recent Instagram posts show the couple vacationing in separate tropical locations over the holidays, despite previous claims that they would be together with their family. As cracks in their relationship come to light, many are wondering if this luxury real estate power couple will make it through.

Just before Christmas, Richards raised eyebrows by posting a solo photo from the beaches of Punta Mita, Mexico. She even accompanied the post with a cryptic caption possibly hinting at personal drama involving Umansky.
“Sometimes we just need to escape reality for a bit,” Richards wrote in the caption.
Comments on the post were initially turned off, sparking speculation that she wanted to avoid questions about her missing husband. When comments were enabled again, fans flooded her feed with speculation about marital troubles.
At the same time Richards was soaking up the Mexican sun, Umansky headed to a snowy destination out West. His Instagram showed him hitting the ski slopes with friends, including singer Anitta and influencer Lele Pons.
While Richards lays low, Umansky documented his chilly getaway on social media for all to see, leading many to wonder about the state of their marriage. However, always the businessman, Umansky may have had ulterior motives for the very public ski trip.
Some speculate he wanted to spark romance rumors with Anitta or Lele as a PR distraction from his marital woes. However, most signs point to the couple simply needing time apart to deal with struggles plaguing their 25-year relationship.

Richards and Umansky went out of their way to downplay breakup rumors this year. Despite rumors of affairs and arguments over finances, they asserted their commitment to one another.
In interviews, Umansky declared family would always come first, no matter what. Richards stated that they would definitely spend the holidays together with their daughters. Their separate tropical vacations seem to shatter the facade of unity they’d worked hard to portray all year long.
While solo trips over the holidays don’t necessarily spell doom, they do show Richards and Umansky are having issues behind closed doors. After standing firm together through public scrutiny, it seems the cracks in their marriage foundation have finally spread too far to hide.
