Taylor Swift has officially released Speak Now (Taylor’s Version), the latest in her string of re-recorded albums. The new version of her third studio album features all the songs that were included in the 2010 original, as well as six additional vault tracks.

Taylor Swift Releases Speak Now (Taylor’s Version)

“It’s here. It’s yours, it’s mine, it’s ours,” Swift wrote on social media to announce the new release. “It’s an album I wrote alone about the whims, fantasies, heartaches, dramas and tragedies I lived out as a young woman between 18 and 20.”

Swift went on to say that she recorded this new version of the album at age 32 (she’s now 33), adding that “the memories it brought back filled me with nostalgia and appreciation.”

Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) features all the songs fans fell in love with in 2010, including “Mine,” “Back to December,” “Sparks Fly,” and “Better Than Revenge.” This time, the classic tracks are highlighted by the singer’s more mature vocals.

This is the third re-recorded album that Swift has released. She previously put out both Fearless (Taylor’s Version) and Red (Taylor’s Version) in 2021. Fans can also expect to eventually hear re-recorded versions of her self-titled debut album, as well as 1989 and Reputation.

Swift Released Six New Vault Tracks

Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) features six previously unreleased vault tracks. As Swift explained in her post, she “had to be ruthless” with which songs she chose to include on the album, meaning she “left behind some songs I am still unfailingly proud of now.”

The six vault tracks included on the new release are “Electric Touch” (featuring Fall Out Boy), “When Emma Falls in Love,” “I Can See You,” “Castles Crumbling” (featuring Hayley Williams of Paramore), “Foolish One,” and “Timeless.”

Swift is currently performing around the United States on her Eras Tour. She’s scheduled to take the stage on Friday night in Kansas City, Missouri, for her first concert since the new album was released.
