7-Year-Old Dancer Impresses in ‘AGT’ Early Release Audition

America’s Got Talent has shared an early release audition from next week’s new episode of Season 18, featuring 7-year-old dancer Eseniia Mikheeva. The judges and audience were wowed by Eseniia’s amazing moves.
7-Year-Old Dancer Performs in AGT Early Release
Eseniia charmed the judges from the moment she said hello before her audition. Sofia Vergara asked, “Why are you so adorable?” Eseniia replied simply, “I don’t know.”
She proceeded to show off an impressive dance routine set to “Soy Yo” by Bomba Estereo. In addition to an incredible stage presence, Eseniia also displayed some fantastic gymnastic moves, including backflips and splits.
The entire panel gave Eseniia a standing ovation for her performance. Vergara called her “a mini, mini star already.” She added that AGT is “the place where you needed to be.”
Eseniia’s mom and dad were watching from backstage. At Howie Mandel’s suggestion, her mom brought her stuffed dog toy out for her to hold on stage while the judges shared their thoughts about her performance.

Sofia Vergara Translates for Simon Cowell
This early release audition also gives us a sneak peek of judge Simon Cowell after losing his voice. His fellow judges had to step in to speak for him. In this case, Sofia Vergara tried to share Cowell’s thoughts on Eseniia’s performance.
Cowell whispered something in Vergara’s ear. She told Eseniia, “Simon says that if you win it you keep it.” That obviously wasn’t what Cowell said, based on his reaction. Vergara tried a few different versions of the sentence, none of which were quite right.
Eventually, Heidi Klum figured out that Cowell was trying to say that Eseniia is “in it to win it.” At the end of the video, all four judges give the young dancer a “yes” vote to move on.
