‘AGT’ Ventriloquist Brynn Cummings Reacts After Terry Fator, Darci Lynne Share Her Audition

This week’s new episode of America’s Got Talent featured a 12-year-old ventriloquist named Brynn Cummings. Her audition, which combined ventriloquism with mentalism, caught the attention of fellow ventriloquist and AGT Season 2 winner Terry Fator, as well as Season 12 winner Darci Lynne Farmer.
Terry Fator Shares Brynn Cummings’ AGT Audition
On Wednesday, Fator took to his Facebook page to share a video of Brynn’s audition, writing that she “nailed it” and adding, “Your skills are terrific and the routine was amazing. Best Mentaliquist I’ve ever seen! Great job!”
Brynn shared a screenshot of Fator’s post on Instagram, writing that she was starstuck to discover that Fator had posted her audition. She also shared that she met Fator back in 2019 when she was first starting out in ventriloquism.
Brynn posted a photo she took with Fator at the time, in which she can be seen holding a smaller version of his turtle puppet Winston. Fator commented on the new Instagram post by sharing a clapping hands emoji.
In addition, Darci Lynne Farmer also shared Brynn’s audition to her Facebook page. According to Farmer, Brynn “killed it!” On the same day, Brynn shared Farmer’s comment on her Instagram. “I’m so excited!! Darci Lynne, my inspiration, shared my audition!” she wrote.

Brynn Combines Ventriloquism with Mentalism
During her audition, Brynn told the judges that she was inspired by AGT Season 12 winner Darci Lynne. However, instead of singing, Brynn combines her ventriloquism with a mentalism act. She showed off her skills with her puppet Penelope.
First, Brynn was able to guess which card judge Howie Mandel had chosen from the deck after only Penelope had seen it. Later, she was able to guess that the items that Sofia Vergara and Simon Cowell were holding while blindfolded.
Heidi Klum told Brynn that she figured out “a perfect little act for yourself.” Brynn received four “yes” votes from the judges to move on. She became emotional as she left the stage, sharing that it was “the best moment of my life.”
