‘American Idol’ Winner Noah Thompson Releases Debut EP with Three New Songs

American Idol Season 20 winner Noah Thompson released his debut EP on Friday. The six-song project, titled Middle of God Knows Where, features three new tracks and three previously released tracks.

The first track on Thompson’s new EP is his American Idol single, “One Day Tonight.” That’s followed by a cute new track called “She Gets It From Me,” in which Thompson sings, “‘Cause every wish, every kiss / Yeah, she gets it from me / Day or night, rain or shine / Yeah, she gets it from me.”
The next track on the EP is the breakup song “Us No More,” which has a classic country sound as Thompson sings, “Who you think you’re fooling / We all know what went down / So don’t go trying to change that story up / When you’re out drinking in this God forsaken town.”
The fourth song on tracklist is the title song, “Middle of God Knows Where.” Thompson once again deals with the end of a relationship, singing, “You sure as hell ain’t in the bottom of this drink / You must be out there / In the middle of God knows where.”
The EP’s final two tracks are “Make You Rich” (which Thompson released last year) and the singer’s cover of “Stay” by Rihanna (which he performed on Idol).

Thompson Thanks Fans for Their Support
Thompson marked the release of his new EP with an Instagram post in which he thanked his fans, writing, “My life has changed so much in such a short matter of time and it’s all because of you, can’t thank you all enough for supporting me.”
The singer will be taking the stage this weekend during the CMA Fest in Nashville. He’ll be performing Saturday, June 10, on the Chevy Vibes Stage, with an autograph signing later at Fan Fair X.
