Heavy Metal Band Performs in AGT Early Release
As soon as they walked out on stage for their audition, Steel Panther received a standing ovation from the audience. They introduced themselves to the judges and offered Sofia Vergara and Heidi Klum concert tickets and backstage passes for life.
The band shared that they’ve released six studio albums and even a couple of live albums. They added that competing on AGT is “the best way to reach so many other people that have never seen us before, and teach in the ways of heavy metal.”
They went on to perform their song “Eyes of a Panther,” which features the very appropriate lyric, “Don’t be afraid of heavy metal.” The audience was definitely into the performance, as they stood up and cheered. The panel was also impressed, as all four of them gave Steel Panther a standing ovation.
