‘AGT’ Shares First Look at Season 18 During Judges’ Game

America’s Got Talent teased some of the acts who will be competing on Season 18 of the show during a new video featuring three of the judges and host Terry Crews. Together, they tried to predict how fans would rank the types of acts featured on the show.
America’s Got Talent Season 18 Judges Appear in New Video
Host Terry Crews appears in the new video alongside judges Heidi Klum, Sofia Vergara, and Howie Mandel. As Crews shared, the show asked fans at home to rank their favorite types of acts — singing, dancing, magic, animals, and comedy.
The judges and hosts were challenged to guess the correct ranking. At first, they predicted that America would rank singing as their favorite, followed by magic, animals, dancing, and comedy. They ended up being totally wrong.
The actual ranking of the categories, according to the show’s fans, was magic, singing, dancing, comedy, animals. Mandel in particular was very excited that comedy beat animals, joking, “I am better than squirrels!”

The New Video Teases this Season’s Acts
The new video from AGT also featured a first look at some of this season’s upcoming acts. While discussing the different categories, from singing to animal acts, the show teased some performances we can expect to see.
In one shot, we see an animal act in which a dog balances several cookies on its head. In another clip, a magician lights a match. The video also teases a few singers and a dance group, as well as what appears to be a puppetry act.
Earlier this month, AGT shared the first promo from Season 18, which teased Mandel’s Golden Buzzer and gave us a few more glimpses at the upcoming auditions. The new season will premiere on Tuesday, May 30, at 8/7c on NBC.
