The Blake Shelton Adam Levine Bromance
The Voice has #blessed us with the best bromance of our time. Blake Shelton and Adam Levine captured the hearts of America with their playful banter.
Unfortunately, this bromance is coming to an end after 16 seasons of poking fun at one another.
“I didn’t expect Adam to pull the trigger like he did,” Shelton revealed to Extra. “I was pretty upset that, that Adam was gonna be gone.”
Who Will Be Blake’s Next Foe
So who will be Shelton’s next foe? The country star jokes, “I can’t go head-to-head with Gwen like that.” Which only leaves Blake with a few options…Kelly Clarkson or John Legend?
Kelly Clarkson has proven to have the right amount of sass to clap back at the country superstar. We’ve seen all of these judges go toe-to-toe in order to work with their favorite contestant, so really its anyones game!

We all know that girlfriend and No Doubt front woman Gwen Stefani will not be in the running. Not only will Blake miss his ability to argue with Adam across the row of oversized red chairs, but he’ll miss the true bond they have developed over the years.
Thankfully, with Gwen joining the cast Blake will have a shoulder to cry on when missing his dear old pal Adam.
Gwen Stefani’s Reaction
“To think that [Adam’s] not going to be there is like bittersweet. And plus, like, being between him and Blake, the amount of laughter, I would have to like stop and massage my face, because it would hurt,” Stefani said on Adams departure in a recent interview with The Talk.
Excited for her Voice return Stefani continues, ““But it’s going to be fun, it’s going to be exciting. I mean, Blake’s my best friend, so I get to hang out with him at work.”
We can’t wait to have Gwen back at the coaches table, and see who becomes the ‘new Adam’.
Season 17 of The Voice will premiere on September 23, 2019.
