Simon Cowell Set on Fire During BGT Performance
According to the Mirror, a masked magician who didn’t speak put a hood over Cowell’s head and doused it in lighter fluid. The magician then reportedly locked Cowell’s head in a box, which the audience could see into. Then the magician set Cowell’s head on fire.
“The audience screamed, judges were out of their seats screaming, everyone was totally stunned,” a source told the outlet. “The flames were put out and Simon got up looking a bit shell-shocked while the rest of the judges breathed a sigh of relief as he returned to the panel.”
Cowell reportedly said, “I could feel liquid being poured on me but I had no idea it was lighter fluid!”
The fellow judges apparently shared their thoughts, with Alesha Dixon saying she “was ready to come up there and rescue you,” and Amanda Holden calling the act “massively entertaining but horrific to watch.” New judge Bruno Tonioli reportedly compared the act to the movie Saw.

Is Cowell Really Willing to Die for the Show?
Recently, World Taekwondo Demonstration Team delivered an explosive performance on America’s Got Talent: All-Stars. Cowell was actually hit by a flying piece of the wood that team members broke during the performance.
“I would die for my show, you know that,” Cowell said in a video reacting to the moment.
Is the same true for Britain’s Got Talent? It certainly seems like it, according to this new report of his participation in a dangerous stunt. We can’t wait until the new series of BGT airs later this year to see what the performance looked like.
