On Wednesday, Milligan took to Instagram to share that Sun Records is now available to stream on Paramount+. The eight-episode miniseries originally aired on CMT in 2017. It co-starred Trevor Donovan and Chad Michael Murray.

“I was cast as Elvis Presley in this amazing series as a Senior in high school, and my life has not been the same since,” Milligan wrote in his new post. “So many wonderful memories and friendships made. Very excited for it to be available to everyone!”

The miniseries is based on the musical Million Dollar Quartet, which tells the story of the eponymous 1956 recording session from Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins, and Jerry Lee Lewis at Sun Studio in Memphis.

What Has the Singer Been Up to Since AGT?

Milligan and his band finished America’s Got Talent Season 17 in third place, having won over viewers with their original country songs. Shortly after the finale, Milligan released his debut album Dallas/Forth Worth. It features the songs “Sounds Like Something I’d Do” and “Kiss Goodbye All Night.”

Recently, Milligan has been performing around the United States. He has several shows lined up this month, including two shows in Las Vegas on December 2 and 3. The singer also recently shared his 2022 Spotify stats, which included 10 million streams of his music. He definitely gained some new fans from his time on the show.

“One of the best comments I’ve had from my time on AGT is people reaching out to say, ‘I’m not a country music fan,’ or ‘I didn’t know I was a country music fan,'” Milligan told Taste of Country. “AGT reaches so many people that are not necessarily the average country fanbase. People all over the world watch AGT.”
