The Voice Season 22 returned on Monday night for another live show, as the Top 10 artists took the stage for Fan Week, performing songs suggested by viewers. There were some strong performances during this week’s show, including a pre-recorded song from Team Gwen’s Kique, who tested positive for Covid-19.

Voting will be open until Tuesday at 7 a.m. ET. Fans can vote for their favorite artists through the NBC website or the show’s app. Two artists will be sent home during Tuesday night’s results show, as the Top 8 will move on to next week’s Semifinals.

Kique Tests Positive for Covid-19 on The Voice

Last week, Team Gwen artist Kique earned the Instant Save vote to become the last member of the Top 10. This week, he wasn’t able to appear in person for the live show, as he tested positive for Covid-19. Instead, a pre-recorded performance was shown.

Kique performed “Call Out My Name” by The Weeknd. Afterward, he appeared via video chat to hear from the coaches, explaining that he’s “not feeling too great.” Still, his coach Gwen Stefani described it as a “flawless performance.” Will it be enough to make it to the Semifinals?

Another strong performance from Monday night’s show came from Team Legend’s Kim Cruse, who performed “Love on the Brain” by Rihanna to a standing ovation from the coaches. Blake Shelton told her that her voice “could kill things and then bring them back to life.”

Shelton was full of similar praise for his own artist Bodie, who sang “Golden Hour” by JVKE. He said it might be the best performance he’s ever seen on The Voice, which is saying something considering he’s coached on every single season.

Omar Jose Cardona Closes the Show with a Powerhouse Performance

The Voice arguably saved the best for last on Monday night, as Team Legend’s Omar Jose Cardona took the stage to sing “I Want to Know What Love Is” by Foreigner. He even played piano during the powerhouse performance.

As Camila Cabello told him afterward, “You are not going home.” She called the performance “euphoric.” Omar’s coach John Legend took it a step further and told the singer that he’s “the reason The Voice exists.”

Team Camila’s Morgan Myles also brought her A game during Monday’s show, performing “Tennessee Whiskey” by Chris Stapleton. Host Carson Daly said it felt like a performance at the CMAs, while Legend told her she was “fully in your element.”

Going into Tuesday’s results show, Team Blake has four artists, Team Legend has three, Team Gwen has two, and Team Camila has four. We’ll have to wait and see how those numbers change going into the Semifinals.
