Miley Cyrus is ‘No Longer on Speaking Terms’ With Billy Ray Cyrus

The former The Voice coach Miley Cyrus has recently decided to end communication with her father, Billy Ray Cyrus during his ongoing divorce from Tish Cyrus. It’s been reported that they’ve had a falling out and even unfollowed each other on social media.
Billy Ray Cyrus, Miley Cyrus Are Allegedly Not on Speaking Terms
According to The U.S. Sun, Miley Cyrus and her father butted heads after Billy Ray Cyrus’s split from Tish Cyrus in April. Although the public has not received all the information behind the feud, a source recently revealed portions of it.
“Miley is all about peace but she didn’t agree with some things that her father has done. It has really escalated and they are not on good terms,” the source told the publication. “There were words exchanged over what Âhappened towards the end of Billy and Tish’s marriage, and since then, but they clearly see things very differently.”
The source confirmed that neither Miley Cyrus, nor her father are eager to make amends at the moment. Instead, they’re hoping for an apology. As for the rest of the family, apparently they’re “hoping it will blow over soon.”
Ahead of Cyrus’s time on The Voice, she rose to fame alongside Billy Ray on the Disney Channel Original Series, Hannah Montana. Since her time in the role, the father-daughter pair has apparently had their ups and downs, and even drifted apart when the show ended. Soon after the series’s conclusion, the country star explained that “it destroyed my family.”
In the past few years, the father and daughter have been seen performing together on several occasions. The former The Voice coach had even publicly talked about how important her family is, typically including her father.
Fans Hope They Will Make Up Soon
Although this feud has destroyed the singers’s relationship at this time, fans hope they can rekindle in the future. For those who may not know, this marks the third time Billy Ray and Tish Cyrus have seperated and taken steps toward divorce.
Originally, Billy Ray Cyrus was the first to file for divorce back in 2010, they then rekindled until Tish took the steps to file for divorce again in 2013. Following their second separation they seeked out a marriage counselor and rekindled their love. In April, Tish Cyrus once again filed for divorce, noting “irreconcilable differences.”
