Katy Perry Shares Glimpse of Life in Kentucky with Orlando Bloom

American Idol judge Katy Perry spent some time in Kentucky earlier this year as her fiancé Orlando Bloom was filming a movie there. The singer recently shared a glimpse into their life on Instagram through a series of photos and videos.
Katy Perry Shares Life in Kentucky with Orlando Bloom
Perry captioned her post, “daddy filmed a movie, I got lucky in Kentucky.” From shopping at Walmart to ziplining at Louisville Mega Cavern, it looks like she had a lot of fun. Other activities include candle-making, painting, growing strawberries, playing Uno, and meeting a sloth at the zoo.
One video from the post also shows Bloom hard at work on the deck trying to retrieve a screw that had gotten stuck between the slats while he was putting together a pink scooter — presumably for the couple’s 1-year-old daughter Daisy Dove.
Bloom himself commented on Perry’s post, writing, “It’s just a life of lovin.” The couple has been engaged since Valentine’s Day 2019, and they welcomed their daughter in August of 2020. Bloom also has a son named Flynn from his previous marriage to Miranda Kerr.

No, Perry, Bloom Are Not Moving to Kentucky
After spending so much time in Kentucky, there were rumors that couple was moving there. But Perry shot down those rumors in May, telling Extra, “You can’t believe everything you hear or read. You’ve got to hear it from the source, and the source is telling you no.”
“But I did spend a lot of time there because Orlando [Bloom] just wrapped filming a movie there for two months, so I was there for a month and change and I loved it,” Perry continued. “It was so beautiful to see the heart of America… Also just to be ‘Mom’ every day, all day — I love that.”
The family also spent some time in Australia this summer, but now Perry is back to focusing on her Las Vegas residency at Resorts World Theater. Her Play show resumes on July 29 and 30, with more dates in August and October.
