Jennifer Lopez, John Legend to Perform at iHeartRadio Music Awards

Former World of Dance judge Jennifer Lopez and The Voice coach John Legend are among the celebrity performers at this year’s iHeartRadio Music Awards. The upcoming event, hosted by LL Cool J, will take place on March 22 in Los Angeles.

In addition to Lopez and Legend, the show will also feature performances from Megan Thee Stallion, Jason Aldean, Charlie Puth, Eurovision 2021 winners Måneskin, and host LL Cool J.

“It’s an honor to return to the stage as host of the iHeartRadio Music Awards and bring live music back to fans all over the world as we celebrate our favorite artists,” LL Cool J said in a statement. “I have a special performance for the fans, and the show will have some great surprises throughout the night.”

Lopez isn’t just performing. She’ll also be honored with the Icon Award, which recognizes “impact on pop culture, longevity and continued relevance as a touring and radio force with a loyal fan base worldwide.”

Voting Is Open Now for Fans

Nominees for this year’s iHeartRadio Music Awards were announced in January. The Voice coach Ariana Grande is nominated for Song of the Year, Female Artist of the Year, and Best Fan Army.

Former American Idol winner Carrie Underwood is nominated with Jason Aldean for Best Collaboration and Country Song of the Year for their track “If I Didn’t Love You.” They’re up against former contestant Gabby Barrett for her song “The Good Ones.” Judge Luke Bryan is also nominated for Country Artist of the Year.


Fans are allowed to vote in several categories at this year’s event, including Best Fan Army, Best Cover Song, and Best Music Video. Voting will close on March 15 at 11:59 p.m. PT, so get your choices in soon.

The 2022 iHeartRadio Awards will air on FOX on Tuesday, March 22 at 8 p.m. ET, broadcast live from the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. Tickets for the event are available now.
