The Masked Singer national tour is back after a two year hiatus. The popular show has announced that singer Natasha Bedingfield will host and perform throughout the 50-city tour which kicks off this May. Tickets are now on sale as other cities will include Atlanta, Chicago, Boston, Austin, Portland, and Los Angeles.

Bedingfield will pull double duty as host and reliving her time as the Pepper. The singer was a Group A semifinalist during Season 6 of the hit Fox show.

“I’ll be hosting and singing and bringing your favorite characters with me including the Pepper and unmasking a mystery local star in each city. You never know what life brings your way,” Bedingfield posted. “Sometimes its something tough or rough so when something this outrageously fun comes along -I say just say YES.”

Bedingfield will be joined by Jewel’s Queen of Hearts, Tom Bergeron’s Taco, Latoya Jackson’s Alien, and more. There is a Season 7 character joining the party as well. Fans will have to wait to see who will be behind the Thingamabob costume.

A local star in each city will also perform on the show. The tour will follow The Masked Singer‘s formula and allow attendees to guess who could be behind the mask. They will also use clues to help their decision.

News about the national tour comes just as fans are ready for Season 7 of The Masked Singer to start Wednesday March 9.

‘The Masked Singer’ Season 7

Since Bedingfield appeared on The Masked Singer her career has seen a resurgence. The singer has a new lease on life after she revealed the tough battle her family faced when her son underwent brain surgery. Bedingfield opened up about the ordeal and also mentioned it was one of the deciding factors for her being a part of Season 6 of the singing competition.

Now a new batch of quirky costumes are waiting to make their debut. The new season of The Masked Singer has become one of the most anticipated seasons in the show’s history. The competition series recently made headlines when it was leaked that Robin Thicke and Ken Jeong walked off the stage in protest because of Rudy Giuliani’s involvement.
