‘The Voice’ Star Pete Mroz Releases Uplifting New Song ‘I Believe It’

The Voice Season 20 contestant Pete Mroz has a new song out, and the uplifting message might be just what you need to hear. Mroz was formerly bandmates with coach Blake Shelton, who hilariously failed to recognize him in his Blind Audition.

Mroz’s new song “I Believe It” has a great classic rock sound, as the singer tells listeners that “there’s been a whole lot of pain,” but he shares in the chorus that “I believe in God’s plan / That we all join hands / And spread love around the world.”
Later on in the track, Mroz sings that “love is the key that sets the world free” and insists that “in heaven we are all friends.” Some might find it corny, but Mroz’s gritty voice and down-to-earth style is a nice balance to the sentimental lyrics.
The new single was written by Ronnie Bowman and Larry McCoy. Mroz has been promoting the track on his Instagram, writing to fans, “Super excited for you to hear it!” He also shared a photo of his son Cooper holding up a card he made to congratulate his dad on the song.

Mroz Will Be Performing at Blake Shelton’s Bar Ole Red
Earlier this year, Mroz debuted another single called “Always Been You.” Interestingly, he released that track on the day of The Voice Season 21 premiere, and he released “I Believe It” on the day of the season finale. We doubt that’s a coincidence.
In January, Mroz will be taking the stage at The Doghouse, a venue associated with Blake Shelton’s bar Ole Red in Tishomingo, Oklahoma. He’ll be joined by The Joy Reunion, who appeared on The Voice Season 21 as part of Team Blake.
This isn’t Mroz’s first time playing at Ole Red. He appeared with fellow Season 20 Team Blake artist Jordan Matthew Young in August of this year.
