‘The Voice’ Recap: All of Team Kelly, Team Blake Move to Top 11
Reading Time: 2 minutes
On Tuesday night, The Voice Season 21 returned for another live results show, as we learned the artists who made it through after Monday night’s Top 13 performances, dedicated to important people in the singers’ lives. At the end of the results, Gymani earned the Instant Save, meaning that all four groups from Team Kelly have made it on to the next round. All of Team Blake’s three members also made it into the Top 11 putting John Legend and Ariana Grande’s teams at a disadvantage moving forward.
Ten groups made it through to the next round thanks to America’s vote. The remaining three artists were up for the Instant Save vote, and two were eliminated from the competition.
Tuesday’s episode also featured performances from both Kelly Clarkson and John Legend with their teams. Clarkson surprised her fellow The Voice coach by singing his song.
Which Artists Made It Through to the Top 11?
On Team Kelly, Girl Named Tom, Hailey Mia, and Jeremy Rosado made it straight through thanks to Monday night’s votes. Team Legend members Jershika Maple and Joshua Vacanti also moved on. On Team Ariana, Holly Forbes and Jim and Sasha Allen also have a place in the Top 11.
Meanwhile, Team Blake kept all three members of his team in the competition thanks to America’s overnight vote. Wendy Moten, Paris Winningham, and Lana Scott all made it through to the next round.
That meant that Shadale (Team Legend), Gymani (Team Kelly), and Ryleigh Plank (Team Ariana) were all up for the Instant Save. The vote was open for five minutes, and Gymani received the most votes after her powerhouse performance of “Sweet Love” by Anita Baker. That means Shadale and Ryleigh were eliminated.

Kelly Clarkson Surprises John Legend By Singing His Song
During Tuesday night’s show, both Legend and Clarkson performed with the remaining members of their teams. First, Team Legend (Shadale, Jershika Maple, and Joshua Vacanti) took the stage with the coach to sing “Don’t You Worry ‘Bout a Thing” by Stevie Wonder.
The singers wore matching black and white outfits as they belted out the classic tune. After the performance, fellow The Voice coach Ariana Grande could be seen watching with her mouth open in shock over how good it was.
Later in the episode, Clarkson joined her team (Jeremy Rosado, Girl Named Tom, Gymani, and Hailey Mia) for a soulful performance of “U Move, I Move” by Legend himself. This was a total surprise to the singer, and made for a sweet moment.
Next Monday, the Top 11 will once again perform live for America’s votes at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.
