When ‘Hello’ was released back in 2015, it was an instant hit across the world for it’s somber lyrics and relatability. However, when 15-month-old, Jalal Hijaz first heard the song, he responded like no other, with a greeting in return.

In the clip, now viral online as Adele’s first lyric is heard, ‘Hello’, Hijaz grinned as he replied with a ‘hello’ right back.
The short clip was first posted to Vine and gained traction very quickly, with over 15 million views. Speaking to Today about the hilarious moment, Jalal’s father, Wael, said his son’s reaction came as a ‘complete surprise’.
“He was in a great mood at the time and I was playing different songs for him while he sang along,” Wael said. “As Adele’s song came up next we were expecting him to sing along again. However, it came as a complete surprise when he responded to Adele’s ‘hello!’…He really thought Adele was speaking to him.”
“We enjoy capturing all his crazy moments,” Wael added. “He has a strong love for music, and as Adele fans ourselves we hope to think he will be, too.”
Can We Expect A New Album In 2021?
It seems we’re closer than we think to a groundbreaking new album from Adele, maybe even this year.
One of the singer’s good friends, Alan Carr spilled some gossip on what we can expect from the new record. “I’ve heard some tracks on it. Oh my gosh, it’s so amazing. It’s so amazing,” he said, speaking to Grazia Magazine.
As to anymore we know about the upcoming album, it’s been reported that Beyonce may appear as a musical guest. We know Adele is a huge fan, even choosing to dedicate her winning speech at the Grammy’s to the ‘Drunk in Love’ star.

In true Adele fashion, however, the singer keeps her activity in the studio very private until release day is announced. And let’s be honest, we wouldn’t want it any other way.
