Rebecca Ferguson Is Performing at Eurovision 2023
Ferguson will perform during the first Eurovision Semi-final on Tuesday, May 9. She’ll reportedly be singing with 2010 Ukrainian Eurovision representative Alyosha. The pair will be performing “Ordinary World” by Duran Duran.
“So I’ll be performing with Alyosha who is a Ukrainian singer. She performed at Eurovision in 2010, it will be a really powerful performance, and it will be really reflective of what’s going on now, what’s happening with the women in Ukraine having to leave their husbands,” Ferguson told Good Morning Britain. “The whole performance is a story really, it’s really powerful, and me and Alyosha are really excited.”
Ferguson added that the message of her performance with Alyosha is “love and unity, which is what Eurovision is about and that’s what we’re going to be portraying.”
The first Eurovision Semi-final for 2023 airs on Tuesday at 8 p.m. BST. The second Semi-final will be held on Thursday, and the Final will take place on Saturday.
