Meet the Acts Auditioning in AGT Season 20 Week 3
The next episode of AGT Season 20 is set to air on Tuesday, June 10, at 8/7c on NBC. Eleven acts will take the stage for their chance to earn enough “yes” votes from the judges to move on. Who will earn the Golden Buzzer?
1. Benjamin Hightower
Benjamin previously appeared on AGT in Season 12, as part of the U.S. Airforce Academy a cappella group In the Stairwell. They reached the Semifinals. Benjamin has released several solo singles over the years. And if you’re wondering, his Instagram bio confirms that he’s “not Benson Boone.”
2. Boston Dynamics
You might have already heard of Boston Dynamics. The engineering and robotics design company is known for producing dog-like robots. It looks like some of those robots will be appearing on the AGT stage this season.
3. Charity Lockhart
Charity is a singer with an inspiring story. According to her website, she was living in her car with her kids when she won $1,000 in a talent competition. From there, she has performed on cruise ships and paid tribute to Aretha Franklin.
4. Cyril
Cyril Takayama is a magician who pioneered the art of street magic. According to his website, he has toured to sold-out audiences in Japan and appeared on dozens of TV specials over the years. Based on images from Tuesday’s episode, it looks like judge Howie Mandel will be involved in Cyril’s audition.
5. Julia and Dmytro Turkeev
This Ukrainian couple reached the finale of Spain’s Got Talent with their daring aerial act in 2021. Julia and Dmytro share two kids together and have performed as part of Cirque du Soleil. As shown on Instagram, sometimes their daughters join them on stage.
6. Kennedy and Jay
Kennedy and Jay are a husband and wife music duo with over 200,000 followers on TikTok, where they post song covers — with Kennedy singing lead and Jay playing piano. Over the years, the couple has also released several holiday singles on streaming.
7. Leo High School Choir
This high school choir, directed by LaDonna Hill, is based in Chicago. The group went viral last year thanks to a video of them performing “Where Is the Love” by the Black Eyed Peas. Now they’re bringing their impressive vocal talents to the AGT stage.
8. Maceo Harrison
This hip-hop dancer and choreographer has over 100,000 followers on TikTok. He teaches dance classes and is also First Base Dance Coach for the Savannah Bananas baseball team, showing off some amazing acrobatic moves.
9. Osaka Philharmonic
We’re assuming this novelty act isn’t associated with the Osaka Philharmonic Orchestra in Japan. We don’t know much about them, but based on photos of their audition, it looks like this group will cause quite a stir when they perform for the AGT judges.
10. Spaceman Bob
Spaceman Bob is a rapper with a colorful style who released his debut album LIFTOFF earlier this year. In videos posted on his Instagram account, he raps about everything from politics to pop culture to why he doesn’t want children.
11. Urban Theory
This incredibly popular dance group has over 20 million followers on TikTok. They performed at Eurovision in 2022 and earned a Golden Buzzer on Italia’s Got Talent in 2019. They’ve also appeared on The Tonight Show.
