Get ready to see Laine Hardy, Maelyn Jarmon, and a host of other talent show favorites performing this July 4th. Several contestants, winners, and judges on shows like American Idol, The Voice, and AGT will be making appearances at events celebrating Independence Day.


Find out where you can watch or attend these performances below. And if none of them appeal to you, playing Idol judge Katy Perry’s “Firework” over your local fireworks display counts as your own entry on the list.

Angelica Hale announces “A Capital Four” Hosted by John Stamos on PBS

Laine Hardy, Angelica Hale, Maelyn Jarmon, & More

“A Capitol Fourth” is an annual concert on the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol. This year, the special will feature several famous names from talent shows. Laine Hardy and Maelyn Jarmon, this year’s winners of American Idol and The Voice, will perform. The concert will also feature AGT alums Lindsey Stirling and Angelica Hale. Check it out July 4th at 8/7 c on PBS.


Luke Bryan announces his Macy’s 4th of July performance

The country star and American Idol judge will perform at this year’s “Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular” in New York City. You’ll also be able to hear Idol alum Jennifer Hudson in a recorded soundtrack for the fireworks display. She’ll reportedly sing “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” to celebrate the 80th anniversary of The Wizard of Oz. Check it out July 4th at 8 pm ET on NBC.

Speaking of Jennifer Hudson, she’ll perform live at the “Wawa Welcome America July 4th Concert & Fireworks” in Philadelphia. She’s headlining the show with Meghan Trainor, and will reportedly perform with the Philly POPS Orchestra. The concert starts at 7 pm on July 4th, followed by a fireworks display. Fans can watch for free along the Parkway, or on NBC10.

Kellie Pickler

The American Idol alum will perform at Houston’s CITGO Freedom Over Texas event on July 4th. The show will also feature country star Jake Owen. The event starts at 4 pm and will conclude with a fireworks display. Go here for more information and to buy tickets.


Alejandro Aranda

This year’s American Idol runner-up will be performing the day before Independence Day, but we still wanted to let you know. The concert, at Ascend Amphitheater in Nashville, is free. He’ll be joined by the band Bizz & Everyday People. It starts at 3 pm on July 3rd.

Chris Daughtry

American Idol alum Chris Daughtry and his band will perform on July 3rd in Mason, Ohio. It’s part of the local Red, Rhythm and Boom event. Daughtry will perform at 8:30 pm. You can find more information here.
