Fayth Ifil took the Britain’s Got Talent series 14 competition by storm with her mature voice. Her unbelievable skills lead Simon Cowell to hit his Golden Buzzer. Here’s what she’s up to in 2022.
At only 12 years old, Fayth Ifil left both the judges and the crowd amazed with an incredible cover of Tina Turner’s ‘Proud Mary’. Throughout the performance, the audience was seen on their feet, pushing the judges to ‘hit the gold’. The judges were impressed by not only her vocals, but by her stage presence. Once she shook off the nerves she was able to walk around the stage and even dance.
After wowing the audience in her audition, she returned to the stage for the semifinals. In this round she performed “Stand Up For Something” by Andra Day. She once again gave a polished performance with tons of voice control and movement around stage. Surprisingly, her time on the series ended there.
Britain’s Got Talent isn’t the only big stage that Fayth has appeared on. The young singer has performed in many big West End musicals over the years, which include ‘School of Rock’ and ‘The Tina Turner Musical’. Fayth found inspiration for her song choice from her role in ‘The Tina Turner Musical’.
What is Fayth Up to in 2022?
Following Britain’s Got Talent Fayth appear in the series Christmas Special. While on this special, she appeared alongside Souparnika Nair, Beau Dermott, Asanda and Sarah Ikumu. During this time she also uploaded videos of her singing on YouTube.
In current day, Fayth is 14 years old. She is currently still performing throughout the United Kingdom. She’s been as extra in a Fantastic Beasts film and is set to play the lead role in an unannounced series.
In 2021, she was cast in the touring cast of Fantastically Great Women Who Changed the World as the character Jade. It appears that she was only apart of this cast for a limited time. She was one of four youth actors playing the role of Jade on the touring cast.
