What Are the ‘America’s Got Talent’ Season 16 Finalists Up to Now?

America’s Got Talent is currently airing Season 17, which means it’s been almost a year since the Season 16 finalists graced the stage. You might be wondering what they’re up to now, as they embark on their post-AGT careers.
What the ‘AGT’ Season 16 Finalists Are Up To
1. Aidan Bryant
This self-taught teen aerialist finished the competition in second place. He’s continued to perform in the months since he appeared on the show, most recently appearing as part of the Super American Circus in Hawaii and Cirque Electric at Busch Gardens in Florida.
2. Brooke Simpson
This powerhouse singer, who previously competed on The Voice, finished Season 16 in fourth place. Since her time on the show, Brooke has released two new singles, called “You Only Had One Job” and “Haliwa.” She’s currently appearing in a Broadway-bound revival of the stage musical 1776.
3. Dustin Tavella
Dustin won Season 16 of America’s Got Talent with his heartfelt magic act. Since winning the $1 million prize, Dustin has been performing his magic routine in Las Vegas as part of the AGT Live show. The magician recently said that he and his family “love life in Vegas.”
4. Gina Brillon
This hilarious stand-up comedian made it all the way to the Top 10 of Season 16. Since the show, Gina has been touring around the country performing her comedy, recently appearing in San Jose. Upcoming stops include Savannah and San Diego.
5. Jimmie Herrod
This talented singer earned the Golden Buzzer from judge Sofia Vergara and made it to the Top 10 of Season 16. Since then, Jimmie has performed in the AGT Live show in Las Vegas, as well as touring with the group Pink Martini and performing gigs at venues such as the Kennedy Center.
6. Josh Blue
This funny comedian, who previously won the show Last Comic Standing, came in third place on Season 16 of AGT. Since appearing on the show, Josh has been traveling the country performing his comedy. Recently, he had shows in Arlington, Tampa, and Louisville.
7. Léa Kyle
This French quick-change artist earned the Golden Buzzer from Heidi Klum and finished in fifth place. After the show, Léa competed on the Italian talent show Tù Sì Que Vales and participated in the AGT Live show in Las Vegas. In May, she was injured in a car accident, but said she still planned to compete in the World Magic Championship this summer.
8. Northwell Health Nurse Choir
This inspiring choir of medical professionals made it to the Top 10 of Season 16 after earning the Golden Buzzer from Howie Mandel. Since the show, they’ve continued to perform, recently opening for Train on the AM Gold Tour, also featuring Jewel and Blues Traveler.
9. Victory Brinker
This young opera singer made it to the Top 10 of Season 16 with her incredible voice after earning the show’s first-ever group Golden Buzzer. After the show, she released a Christmas EP and an opera cover of “I Will Always Love You.” She also earned the Guinness World Record for World’s Youngest Opera Singer.
10. World Taekwondo Demonstration Team
This impressive taekwondo act earned a Golden Buzzer from host Terry Crews and made it to the Top 10 of America’s Got Talent Season 16. After the show, they auditioned for France’s Got Talent, earning a Golden Buzzer from judge Hélène Segara and reaching the Finals.
