The Voice coaches are one of the core aspects of the series because of their extraordinary vocals and competitive nature. Throughout the years, the show has recruited exceptionally talented and passionate superstars who willingly shared what they know to their chosen team members.

Yet, while we enjoy the dynamics of the coaching panel every season, we also miss previous coaches on the show. Here’s eight The Voice coaches that we want to see in the mighty red chair again.

Former The Voice Coaches We Want to See Again

1. Miley Cyrus

There’s no doubt, Miley Cyrus is one of the funniest coaches to watch on The Voice. Her years of experience as a child star has inevitably manifested during her time on the show, as heard in her effortlessly comical banter. Cyrus was also one of the most dedicated coaches on her seasons, investing her best to help her artists grow.

2. Ariana Grande

Pop superstar Ariana Grande entered the coaching panel during The Voice season 21. None of her artists made it to the Finale of the competition, but Grande was arguably one of the most supported coaches ever in the series. During the season, Grande has successfully showed grace and love for her artists.

3. Chance The Rapper

Back in Spring 2023, Chance The Rapper stepped in The Voice as one of the new coaches alongside Niall Horan. Apparently, Chance wasn’t given enough screen time on the show. Nonetheless, his chill confidence and funny spirit were appreciated by fans that him returning for the next season would be a welcomed idea.

4. Nick Jonas

Nick Jonas managed to show his love for the craft of music back in the beginning of The Voice 2020. As the new kid in the panel, Jonas had a unique and compelling way of convincing artists to choose his side during the Blind Auditions. Surely, Jonas has laser eyes in spotting potential superstars, proven when he sharply stole Thunderstorm Artis from John Legend.

5. Jennifer Hudson

Jennifer Hudson’s legendary status as a singer was then enough to attract artists to be on her team. Back in season 13, she’s validated that she’s a force to be reckoned with when she managed to secure the first four-chair turn blind audition against other coaches. Undeniably, Hudson’s competitive spirit was a fun element of the show.

6. Pharell Williams

If there’s one person who could effectively sway artists during the Blinds, that would be Pharell Williams. During season seven to 10 of the series, Williams has successfully lured singers to his team by affirming their artistic individuality. It has been manifest that Williams was a valuable part of the show and thus, having him back would be good.

7. Alicia Keys

With her calm poise and wise persuasion style, Keys has impressively smacked down veteran coaches Blake Shelton and Adam Levine during the Blinds. Keys has stayed on The Voice for three seasons, quickly learning from her neophyte mistakes. Furthermore, her link with her team artists have clearly been deep.

8. Camila Cabello

The former Fifth Harmony superstar joined The Voice coaching panel back in Fall 2022. She’s instantly fascinated the audience with her surefire way of convincing artists, even playing along with Shelton. During her season on the show, Camila Cabello managed to get four artists that were four-chair turns:  Morgan Myles, Orlando Mendez, Andrew Igbokidi and Grace Bello.
