Lee Glasson Performed A Kylie Minogue Hit On ‘The Voice UK’
Immediately when Lee started singing one of Kylie’s most popular songs, the coaches were hooked. “It’s for Kylie” coach Ricky Wilson mouthed to the camera. The slowed-down version of the song that he brought to The Voice UK was something new and fresh, unlike anything we have ever heard before. All eyes were on Kylie as everyone sat with anticipation to see if she would turn her chair.
Lee hit some crazy high notes and this was finally the point where Ricky decided to turn his chair. This set off a domino effect with coach Tom Jones turning his chair next. Finally, the moment everyone was waiting for was Kylie turning her chair along with will.i.am at the end of the song. It was no surprise when Lee chose Kylie as his coach. His audition now has over 18 million views.
During the Battle Rounds, he went up against Jimmy Weston singing “When You Were Young.” He was declared the winner of the Battle which sent him into The Knockouts He impressed the coaches with his rendition of “Careless Whisper” and was sent into the Live Shows. Lee was eliminated in the second week in the Live Shows after his performance of “Strong.” In the end, it was Jermain Jackman who was crowned the winner of the competition.

Where Is Lee Now?
After appearing on The Voice UK, Lee said that he lost his job as an insurance manager where he had been making £35,000 per year. His bosses reportedly were tired of him taking time off of work to be on the show. “The Voice has left me a broken man. I’m in huge debt with no house or job” he told The Sun. “The producers promised I had a big future. There was no guarantee I’d win but they said I’d get work after the show. I waited for the phone to ring but it never did.”
“As soon as the program finishes you’re on your own. Now I’ve lost everything. I threw it all away to go on The Voice” he added. But now it looks like Lee has a sponsorship with a company called Supreme CBD Oil. He has a promo code with the company which is advertised on his Twitter account. He posted a poolside photo back in September.
