BTS Performs New Song ‘ON’ In New York City
The group definitely utilized the space in Grand Central Terminal for their performance. They were accompanied by backup dancers as they moved across the floor, dancing and taking turns singing their parts of the song.
At one point, a line of drummers appeared behind them. The guys even took a moment to deliver an awesome dance interlude toward the end of the performance. They ended things with their arms around each other.
The band also visited iconic New York City landmark Katz’s Deli, where they ate pastrami sandwiches and ended up behind the counter serving customers.
Jimmy Fallon Interviews BTS On The Subway
Interviewing BTS in his studio wasn’t enough for Jimmy Fallon, so he decided to ask the questions on the subway instead. The guys gave their first impressions of New York City (including a Home Alone 2 comparison), and responded to their popularity in the United States.
“It’s an honor they all listen to and enjoy our song,” J-Hope said of how many fans they have around the world. “And I think that’s what drives us to continue to perform.”
“We wanted to do something special for BTS and, at the same time, celebrate New York City,” Jimmy Fallon explained, according to ET. “BTS really knocked it out of the park.”
On Tuesday, the group will join James Corden for a round of Carpool Karaoke, which is sure to be fun.
