People have been talking a lot about the current season of The Bachelor. Apparently, there is some drama going on. I don’t care because I think that show is mental rot but it was a bit of a surprise when its finale was clobbered by The Voice. Well, it didn’t surprise me. The Voice is a much better show.

The Voice received a 2.4 share among 18-49 year olds with about 11.5 million viewers. By contrast, The Bachelor only received 7.5 million viewers and a 2.1 share. Usually on a show like this people tune into the finale in droves to see the outcome. But more people were interested in the second week of The Voice. Maybe it’s because of the drama on The Bachelor and it turning people off. Or maybe people just realize that The Voice is awesome and The Bachelor is trash. At least, that’s my opinion.

One thing is for sure and that’s the fact that Kelly Clarkson has been a huge draw for the show. So far The Voice is doing better this year than last year at the same point in the season.
