‘The Voice’s Emily Ann Roberts Debuts First Single, “Stuck on Me + You”

The Voice season nine runner-up and country singing fan-favorite Emily Ann Roberts has finally debuted new music! “Stuck on Me + You” is the first single she has released since her appearance on the show in 2015. Emily Ann was 16 when her season of The Voice was taping and airing. Since then, she graduated high school and now wants to focus on her music again. “Stuck on Me + You” is the first of many releases to come!

Personally, I love it! And I’m not even a huge country fan. Emily Ann has always had that crossover appeal where she’s definitely country but could go into pop/country music and do well for herself. It helps that she just straight up has a great voice. She is also young and has so much potential! This song shows off her vocals and plays into her traditional country style. If you’ll remember, on The Voice she covered artists like Patty Loveless, the Dixie Chicks, Patsy Cline, and (who could forget?) Dolly Parton. Emily Ann’s voice is smooth and timeless.
“Stuck on Me + You” has already made it all the way to the Top 30 on the iTunes Country Charts! And Emily Ann even got some love from her former coach, Blake Shelton:

Fans seem to be loving her new music too! Many were anxious to hear what it would sound like after such a long wait, but it seems like most people think the wait was worth it.

And I would have to agree with all of them! Her new song is a jam for sure. It’s exactly what I would expect from Emily Ann and I mean that in the best way possible. She is an up-and-coming country star without a doubt! I can’t wait to see what’s on the horizon for the young singer and what music she’ll release next!
