The Voice Recap: Season 14 Finale

It’s official, we have a winner! After phenomenal performances from the finalist, the results are in and the title of The Voice has been named to one contestant. It was a night full of guest performances, past contestants being brought back, and the most killer moments from our Top Four contestants.

The show opened up with a group performance by this season’s contestants: Christiana Danielle, Jackie Foster, WILKES, Mia Boostrom and Top 4 finalist Britton Buchanan. They performed to the song In the Air Tonight.

Spensha Baker (Team Blake)
Celebrity artists were then invited to perform with each finalist tonight and the first pairing was Spensha Baker with Kane Brown. They performed to the song What Ifs.
Next up was a fun and special performance from The Voice’s own judge, Alicia Keys and singer James Bay.

We then took a walk down memory lane to last season’s winner, Chloe Kohanski. The finale showed a short video of all Chloe’s accomplishments in the last 6 months since winning The Voice, and she was able to perform her single Come This Far.
Brynn Cartelli (Team Kelly)
Next up to perform with Julia Michaels was Brynn where they performed to a medley of Issues and Jump. This was an incredible pairing with two strong female artists and their tones complimented each other perfectly.

The next group performance was Rayshun LaMarr, Johnny Bliss, Sharane Calister, and finalist Kyla Jade who performed to the medley of Killer and Papa Was a Rolling Stone.

Britton Buchanan (Team Alicia)
For the third celebrity artist pairing, Britton took to the stage with Ryan Adams and performed the song To Be Without You.

Kyla Jade (Team Blake)
The last pairing was saved for the best, because the backstory behind Kyla and Jennifer Hudson is so special. Last season, Kyla was Jennifer’s backup singing on The Voice and to see them standing side by side together just shows how far Kyla has come in such a short amount of time. They performed to the song I Know Where I’ve Been.

The results came quickly after and they were:
Fourth Place: Spensha Baker (Team Blake)
Third Place: Kyla Jade- (Team Blake)
Runner-Up: Britton Buchanan (Team Alicia)
