‘The Voice’ Is Back Tonight!

What we’ve been waiting patiently for since December is happening tonight! That’s right, folks everyone’s favorite pure singing competition show, The Voice, is back tonight at 8pm EST. Blake Shelton and Adam Levine are back as always along with returning coach Alicia Keys and new coach Kelly Clarkson. It’s going to be something else.
Along with the new coaches they’ve also changed the way the game is played. They’ve added two new changes that are going to make it more interesting. Each coach gets one block during the blind auditions round in which they can block another coach from getting an artist they really want. Then in the knockout rounds, they also get to save one artist that they have eliminated. That will prevent remorse like Miley Cyrus must have had last season when she cut Chloe Kohanski.
Of all of the shows, The Voice is the most popular here in the U.S. Blake Shelton alone is a cultural institution. I find myself going through withdrawals when the show isn’t on. Luckily, that’s only a few months out of the year.
