After getting eliminated on Dancing With The Stars earlier this week, Vinny Guadagnino shared his farewell words on Instagram. For those who may have missed it, the Jersey Shore star alongside dancing pro Koko Iwasaki parted from the show on ‘90s night.
Vinny Guadagnino Says Goodbye to DWTS
On Instagram, the reality star recently uploaded a series of rehearsal videos and a photo of him with Iwasaki. Guadagnino began his parting message by describing his journey in the competition from never learning real dance to performing ballroom live in front of several people.
“My Dancing With The Stars journey has come to an end and what a ride it was,” he wrote.
He went on to explain that Iwasaki taught him complex dance steps, sometimes even two dances within five days. These efforts led them to keep appearing on DWTS each night until the quarter finals. While there have been roadblocks along the way, Guadagnino lived by the mantra that “the only failure in life is not to try.” Furthermore, he credited his DWTS journey to Iwasaki who he regards as a “beast.”
“We kept fighting until the end and never let anyone’s comments stop us,” he wrote.
Truly, criticisms have been harsh towards his performances every week, but that didn’t stop him from learning. As he says goodbye to the show, he roots for Iwasaki’s future in dancing.
He Thanks Fans for Their Support
Guadagnino also expressed his gratitude to fans who eagerly saved him from past eliminations. For weeks, Guadagnino has received low scores, but the power of fans votes has consistently spared him from leaving earlier.
“And to everyone who recognized my journey and voted for me, I can’t thank you enough,” he wrote. “I’ve never felt the love from the audience like i have recently.”
According to him, it was an “incredible feeling” every time he sees his fans’ reactions and cheers whenever he pulls it through the next episodes. He ended his farewell on a lighter note, wishing to see everyone on his next career venture.
