Usher announced a new Las Vegas residency. Not to be confused with his last show at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, the singer’s “brand new” show will take place at Dolby Live at Park MGM. The former The Voice coach rejoins an impressive roster of talent show judges who are dominating the Las Vegas strip.

“I’m so excited to be returning to Vegas with a BRAND NEW residency at Dolby Live at Park MGM this July through October,” the singer posted.

Presale for the highly anticipated show begins tomorrow. Fans will have to join Usher’s text club in order to have early access.

Usher’s last show was the hottest ticket in town when it premiered in Summer 2021. His 14 performances produced a ticket tally of close to 60,000 and the show grossed more than $12.9 million. On his opening night concert goers took to social media to express how iconic the show was. Usher brought a sense of his Atlanta roots to Vegas. He even had a viral moment during his show. One segment had the singer singing live while wearing roller blades.

Usher: the Icon

Las Vegas has been able to attract some of the biggest names in music. Every other day a new artist announces their residency. Katy Perry, Luke Bryan, Celine Dion, and Mariah Carey are just some of the names that have lit up Sin City.

Usher is no different than the big names we see now. He is nearing his 30th year in the music industry. He is also one of the best selling artists of all time. With eight albums Usher has sold over 100 million albums worldwide. He will have plenty of hits to keep his audience entertained. For die-hard fans going to see Usher for a second time, they can count on the superstar to bring a fresh concept to his show. Usher is often compared to the king of pop Michael Jackson.

There may be new material used for Usher’s new Las Vegas residency. Rumors have been swirling that he is working on the follow up to his diamond certified Confessions album with Confessions 2.
