Since the Golden Buzzer was introduced on America’s Got Talent, we could never get enough of it. When the Judge Cut round was still around, guest judges were given the opportunity to award the honor themselves. Let’s look back at the amazing Guest Judge Golden Buzzer moments in AGT‘s history.

1. Angelica Hale

Angelica Hale made history when she became the first contestant in AGT to ever received a Golden Buzzer twice. Belting “Girl on Fire” by Alicia Keys, she impressed the audience and judges with her powerful vocals. Chris Hardwick was, needless to say, extremely awed by her performance that he pressed the Golden Buzzer.

2. Celine Tam

During her audition, Celine Tam captivated hearts when she sang “My Heart Will Go On” by Celine Dion. She came back for Judge Cuts and performed “How am I Supposed to Live Without You” by Michael Bolton. Subsequently, fascinated guest judge Laverne Cox hit her Golden Buzzer.

3. Sofie Dossi

Hanging on an elevated hoop and shooting a bow with her feet, Sofie Dossi astonished everyone with her Judge Cuts performance. Apparently, guest judge Reba McEntire wasn’t contented after giving her a standing ovation, thus hitting her Golden Buzzer.

4. V.Unbeatable

Also known as Vikas Unbeatable, V.Unbeatable is a Mumbai-based dance crew that performed an acrobatic dance routine to pay tribute to their fallen founder. The act was immediately sent to the Quarterfinals when guest judge Dwyane Wade pressed the Golden Buzzer.

5. Piff the Magic Dragon

Piff the Magic Dragon was the magician who utilized a full deck of cards to do his magic tricks. Blown away by Piff’s comedy and magic techniques, guest judge Neil Patrick Harris used his power to directly send him to the live shows. Hence, the Golden Buzzer moment.

6. Flau’jae

Flau’jae was the 14-year-old rapping sensation who joined AGT season 13 to continue her dad’s legacy. During Judge Cuts, she rapped to her original song titled “I Can’t Lose.” Chris Hardwick wanted to make sure that she goes to the Quarterfinals, thus pressing his Golden Buzzer.

7. Paul Zerdin

Joining season 10 of America’s Got Talent, Paul Zerdin greatly entertained everyone with his ventriloquy. Zerdin brought his baby puppet and told it a story about Little Red Riding Hood. Enamored by his performance, guest judge Marlon Wayans pressed his Golden Buzzer.

8. Chase Goehring

Chase Goehring was a singer and guitarist from America’s Got Talent Season 12. He sang an original song title “A Cappella” which talks about himself and his creative journey. Personally moved by the act, DJ Khaled earned him a Golden Buzzer.

9. Light Balance Kids

Light Balance Kids was an LED dance troupe who performed as robots during the Judge Cuts. Guest judge Ellie Kemper described their act to be “spectacular,” gaining them not only her Golden Buzzer.

10. Jayna Brown

Singing Andra Day’s “Rise Up,” Jayna Brown emotionally affected everyone with her vocals. Serving as guest judge during AGT season 11 was One Direction member Louis Tomlinson. The judge was moved by teenage singer’s performance, so he hit his Golden Buzzer for her.
