Some Dancing with the Stars fans are wondering if TLC star Baylen Dooley might be on the next season of the show. Dooley recently chatted with a few DWTS cast members during an appearance on Extra, which is co-hosted by Derek Hough.
Is Baylen Dooley Joining Dancing with the Stars?
A fan on the Dancing with the Stars Reddit recently posted a link to a TikTok video in which TLC star Baylen Dooley can be seen talking to Extra co-host Derek Hough, as well as pro dancers Sharna Burgess and Sasha Farber.
For those who don’t know, Baylen Dooley (formerly Dupree) is the star of the reality show Baylen Out Loud, which documents her journey with Tourette syndrome. While talking to Hough, Dooley shared that she’s a fan of DWTS. Hough suggested that she “come dance with us.” Dooley replied, “I would love that.”
Fans on Reddit discussed the possibility of Dooley joining the show for Season 35, which is expected to premiere this fall. Some users were uncertain about how Dooley’s Tourette syndrome might impact her ability to compete.
A few fans pointed out that some of Dooley’s tics involve profanities, which could be an issue on a live TV show. However, others mentioned that the show runs on a delay, so any curse words could be muted. Another fan suggested that Dooley’s physical tics “could be pretty dangerous for her and a partner.”
