The Voice Season 3 winner Cassadee Pope recently took to social media to share her memories of being on the show 10 years later. The country singer thanked her fans and her coach Blake Shelton.

Cassadee Pope Remembers The Voice Win

“Winning The Voice is already an accomplishment that I find hard to comprehend,” Pope wrote on Twitter and Instagram Sunday. “Winning it 10 YEARS AGO today is even harder to fathom.”

Pope added several photos from her time on the show, including a shot of her sitting in one of the spinning red coach’s chairs, and another posing with Shelton. She went on to thank the show and her coach “for everything you’ve done for me.”

The singer also thanked her fans for voting for her when she was competing on the show back in 2012. Pope shared that they changed her life. Her followers shared their own memories of watching her on the show and voting week to week.

One fan wrote, “I still remember that day, I was so happy you won that I cried,” adding that she “had my whole family vote for you every week.”

Where Has Pope Been Since the Show?

Before she competed on The Voice in 2012, Pope was the lead vocalist for the band Hey Monday. Her Blind Audition to Natalie Imbruglia’s “Torn” prompted all four coaches to turn their chairs. Pope chose to join Team Blake.

Pope made it all the way to the Finals of Season 3, where she became the first female winner of The Voice. The next year, she released her debut solo album, Frame by Frame. Since then, she’s released two more studio albums — 2019’s Stages and 2021’s Thrive.

The singer has also toured with several artists including Rascal Flatts, Tim McGraw, Dierks Bentley, Darius Rucker, and Maren Morris. Recently, Pope shared that she was “moving away from the country space and going more into pop rock where I came from initially.”
