Reading Time: 4 minutes
Tonight, The Voice returned with their final episode of the Knockout Rounds. After eight weeks of the competition, the show is finally set to move on to their Playoff Rounds. Here’s the singers that you can look forward to seeing in the next round, and more.
Niall Horan Makes Various Tough Choices
The first Knockout of the night began with Team Niall’s Michael B versus EJ Michels. Although the pairing was pretty even, it was clear that Michael B. was going to win this matchup. Ultimately, Niall Horan picked Michael B. to continue on to the Playoffs.

Team Niall’s next pair included Jerome Godwin III and Ross Clayton. Jerome decided to take a step back from fast paced music and sing Lewis Capaldi’s ballad “Someone You Loved.” On the other hand, Ross chose to sing “Dirty Work” by Steely Dan. In the end, Horan picked Ross as the winner of the Knockout.

Singer Fails to Make Song Their Own
For Chance The Rapper‘s first Knockout of the night, he paired together soul singers Magnus and Jamar Langley. Since these singers are similar tonally, this pair is great, since both singers will have to rise to the occasion. In this round, Magnus chose to perform “Ordinary People” by John Legend, while Jamar chose to perform “Cruisin'” by Smokey Robinson.
I couldn’t have predicted this winner even if I tried, they were both that good! In the end, Chance The Rapper chose to keep Jamar. Magnus had a hard time differentiating himself from his song’s original artist, John Legend.

Team Chance’s next Knockout of the night was between Tiana Goss and trio Sorelle. Tiana picked to perform “God is a Woman” by Ariana Grande, while Sorelle picked “Blame it on The Boogie” by The Jackson 5. Even though this was a three to one knockout, I thought Tiana held her own. In the end, Chance The Rapper announced Sorelle as the winner of the Knockout.

Kelly Clarkson Steals Team Blake Singers
Team Blake’s first Knockout of the night featured artists Grace West and Neil Salsich. According to the coach, he paired the two together because they already have a very defined genre. Grace chose to perform “Here You Come Again” by Dolly Parton, while Neil chose to perform “Taking it to The Streets” by The Doobie Brothers.
Even though both songs were great, the coaches explained that Neil took a risk with his song, while Grace chose a song that she knew well. Luckily, Neil’s time on the series isn’t finished yet, Kelly Clarkson stole him from Team Blake.

The episode concluded with Team Kelly’s final Knockout between Holly Brand and Rachel Christine. Within the performance, Holly impresses with her rendition of Patsy Cline’s “Blue Moon of Kentucky,” while Rachel stuns with her performance of Fleetwood Mac’s “Rhiannon.”
Clarkson picked Holly as the winner of the Knockout. Luckily, Rachel’s journey on The Voice isn’t complete yet. Blake Shelton decided to steal Rachel.
