The first of the Final Four performers was Team Adam member, Alexia Jayy. She performed “Lady Marmalade” by Patti LaBelle. Coaches were impressed with Alexia’s rendition of this song. Even though fans have heard this song a bunch, there’s not been a single other artist who have sang it like Alexia.
The next performer was Team Kelly member Mikenley Brown, who sang “Almost is Never Enough” by Ariana Grande. The coaches complimented Mikenley on her confidence, which clearly comes through in her performances.
Team Legend singer Lucas West took the stage in the finale singing “Cold as Ice” by Foreigner. Levine immediately discussed Lucas’s choice to perform without the piano, while Clarkson admitted it was a smart move to show versatility.
The final singer of the four, in the first portion of the Finale was Team Kelly’s Liv Ciara. She choose “The Greatest” by Billie Eilish as her first song of the night. Liv’s coach was clearly choked up from the singer’s performance, saying that there’s no way they (the coaches) were that good at only 16 years old.
Mikenley kicked off the second half of the show singing “Man I Need” by Olivia Dean. The Voice alumni discussed Mikenley being their favorite, since she was a dark horse in the competition.
Up next was Lucas West, who sang “Ordinary People” by John Legend. Coaches commented on Lucas’s ability to bend genres going from Foreigner to John Legend. Liv Ciara performed after Lucas, singing “What a Girl Wants” by Christina Aguilera. Her coach admitted that she’s 100% ready to be a popstar after the show, and she cannot wait.
Alexia Jayy wrapped up this portion of the competition singing “One and Only” by Adele. Clarkson was seen bawling her eyes out during this performance, saying it was a therapeutic release.
Ahead of deciding the winner of the competition, coaches performed with their remaining artists. Clarkson performed “Stay” by Rihanna with Liv, followed by Levine and Alexia singing “Sunday Morning” by Maroon Five. Legend and Lucas then took the stage singing “Don’t Let The Sun Go Down on Me” by Elton John, followed by Clarkson singing “What Was I Made For” by Billie Eilish with Mikenley.
