The Voice has shared an early release Battle from next week’s new episode of Season 24, featuring two talented artists on Gwen Stefani’s team — BIAS and Jacquie Roar. They delivered a powerhouse performance of “Need a Favor” by Jelly Roll.
BIAS, Jacquie Roar Battle in The Voice Early Release
Both BIAS and Jacquie brought their A game to this Battle, as they belted out the lyrics and interacted with each other on stage. Their coach was clearly impressed, as she wondered aloud, “What am I gonna do?”
BIAS auditioned for Season 24 with a performance of former The Voice coach Blake Shelton’s song “God’s Country,” turning both Stefani and Reba McEntire’s chairs. He chose to work with Stefani, who happens to be married to Shelton.
Meanwhile, Jacquie turned all four coaches’ chairs with her audition to “Here for the Party” by Gretchen Wilson. In a cute moment, she had her daughter come out on stage to help her choose her coach. They opted for Team Gwen.
Which Artist Will Stefani Choose as the Winner?
Coach John Legend told Jacquie that her “range is so wonderful,” and he told BIAS that he “couldn’t take my eyes off of you.” He said that if he had to choose, he would pick BIAS as the winner. Stefani joked that he had “a little bias towards BIAS.”
Reba McEntire said she was “so entertained,” telling the singers that they were both “so full of energy.” When Stefani asked for McEntire’s help deciding who to choose, McEntire first said she would “take both of them” before going with Jacquie as the winner.
“I can’t believe what I just watched,” Niall Horan said of the Battle. He ultimately said he was leaning toward BIAS as the winner.
However, it’s up to Stefani to pick one artist to stay on her team. In the video, Stefani says she’s going to “go with my heart.” But we’ll have to wait until Monday’s new episode of The Voice at 8/7c on NBC to find out who she chose.
