For Carrie Underwood, “Love Wins.” Specifically, it wins you free dinner. Carrie did something very special for a group of fans this Valentine’s Day. Three couples dining at the Nashville restaurant Sinema learned that their checks had been paid for by the American Idol winner.
According to Sounds Like Nashville, the couples had been enjoying the restaurant’s five-course All You Need is Love prix fixe dinner. A card with Carrie’s signature informed them that their dinners had been paid for. She also gave them a red rose.
Carrie had one more surprise up her sleeve for the couples. She gave them tickets to her Cry Pretty 360 Tour in Nashville this September. One of the couples posted a photo of the Valentine’s goodies on Instagram, and the singer responded by commenting with a winky face and hearts emoji. That’s enough to make anyone “Cry Pretty.”
You don’t need a Valentine’s Day surprise (or even a Valentine) to get your own tickets for Carrie Underwood’s upcoming tour. It kicks off May 1 in Greensboro, North Carolina, and runs through October — with dates around the United States and Canada.
Variety reports that Carrie will be joined on tour by Maddie & Tae and Runaway June. Like her last tour, this one will be in the round — hence the “360” in the name. As Carrie (who recently welcomed her second child) explained in her announcement video, “I got to be closer to you guys, and got to see your beautiful faces and interact with you guys.”
