FoxFlash Revealed Exclusive Photos From The Masked Singer Season Nine
The newest season of The Masked Singer is really right around the corner. If you didn’t know, The Masked Singer, one of the biggest shows on FOX is set to make a return on Wednesday, February 15. Fans couldn’t help but admire the new costumes that are seen in the photos released by FoxFlash.
The reveal featured three brand new costumes which will be included to the previous weeks’ lineup. The photos show a Gnome which judging from the photos, stands over eight feet tall, towering over a normal person. The costume is ironic in the sense that gnomes are normally depicted as small garden spirits.
Another reveal is Mustang, which is a dark-colored costume having a head of a horse with a fiery mane. The final one is Medusa, which looks just like its mythological counterpart complete with all the snake protrusions.
Nick Cannon will once again be the host the next season. Joining the host, are the panelists Nicole Scherzinger, Ken Jeong, Robin Thicke, and Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg. Viewers can also expect a star-studded roster of guest stars to appear on the show.
Season Nine Introduces a New Format to The Show
Things are shaping up for season nine to be the most exciting season of the show, and new features have been added to the show‘s format. A brand new feature is the “Ding Dong Keep It On” bell, where for the first time ever, a panelist can save a singer from elimination.
As was the case last season, the season 9 contestants are separated into three groups. This season, however, they will not be competing against candidates from other groups. Rather, they will compete among themselves to be King or Queen. After three consecutive shows, a group will have just one candidate remaining.
The stage design of the program has also been changed to accommodate the largest Masked Singer audience in history. They will once again be tasked to vote for their favorite celebrity performer wearing a costume.
