On Wednesday night, The Masked Singer Season 6 returned for the Group A Finals, as Bull and Skunk battled it out for a spot in the grand finale. The remaining contestants each performed solo, as well as singing a duet with a celebrity guest — Jesse McCartney and Michael Bolton.

At the end of the night, the winner of the Group A Finals was announced to be Bull. They’ll take on the winner of Group B in the finale. Skunk was eliminated and unmasked as Grammy-winning R&B singer Faith Evans. Robin Thicke correctly guessed it was her in his first impression, earning him a point toward the Golden Ear trophy.

Bull Is Named ‘The Masked Singer’ Group A Winner

During Wednesday’s show, Bull sang “Straight Up” by Paula Abdul. The energetic performance started with them writing their name on the wall in graffiti. They proceeded to belt out the song and show off an impressive falsetto. They even did a split at one point!

The judges were obsessed with Bull’s performance, with Ken Jeong calling it “the most entertaining performance we’ve ever had on the show.” Later on, Bull delivered a great pop duet of “Breakeven (Falling to Pieces)” by The Script with Jesse McCartney, who appeared on Season 3 as Turtle. They had to rehearse without McCartney seeing Bull’s face.

At the end of the night, Bull was announced as the winner of Group A, meaning they’ll go up against either Queen of Hearts or Banana Split in the finale. We’ll find out the winner of Group B during next week’s show.

Skunk Is Revealed to Be Grammy Winner Faith Evans

For their solo performance, Skunk performed “I Never Loved a Man (The Way I Love You)” by Aretha Franklin. They showed off a powerhouse voice and ended the performance on their knees. Jenny McCarthey said the performance gave her chills, and Robin Thicke said he could feel the emotion of the song.

Later, Skunk joined Michael Bolton for a classic duet of “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough” by Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell. In fact, Skunk shared that this wasn’t their first time performing together. But Bolton still said he didn’t know who it was.

Because Bull was announced as the winner of Group A, Skunk had to be unmasked. It turned out to be R&B singer Faith Evans. Evans talked about the time she’s taken to care for her son, who has autism. She also opened up about the last time she saw her late husband The Notorious B.I.G. before he was killed in 1997.

Nicole Scherzinger correctly guessed that Skunk was Evans before the unmasking, but only Robin Thicke had Evans as his first impression guess. He earned a point toward the Golden Ear trophy, tying him with Jeong and Scherzinger.

How could Kyle miss one of the Bull’s BIGGEST clues? The flag (I think it was Ken, even says a DRAG RACE flag) was an obvious reference to RuPaul’s DRAG RACE which Toddrick was on for a season and then had come back as a guest judge on subsequent seasons!
